Deepika Padukone, Pariksha Pe Charcha 2025: The second episode of Pariksha Pe Charcha 2025 was live-streamed today. In this episode, actress, entrepreneur, and mental health advocate Deepika Padukone talks to students about the importance of mental health and well-being.
The episode is available on the YouTube channels of the Ministry of Education, MyGov India, and PM Modi, along with Doordarshan channels.
Deepika Padukone, who made a grand entry, warmly greeted the students with a smile. She shared a lighthearted anecdote from her childhood, saying, “I was a very naughty child. I would always climb onto tables, chairs, and sofas and jump off them.” She then opened up about her experience with exam preparation, revealing, “I used to get extremely stressed during exams, particularly because I was weak in math – a subject I still struggle with.”
‘Being Stressed Is Natural’: Deepika Shares Tips On Handling Stress
During the session, Deepika shares useful tips on handling stress and talks about her personal experiences.
“We all face stress. I was really weak in Maths—still am! Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also mentioned in his book that we should always express our feelings instead of suppressing them. Journaling is a great way to do that,” Deepika told students.
“Being stressed is natural and it is a part of life. How we handle it, is the important thing… Having patience is important regarding the exams and the results… We can only do what is in our control, we can sleep well, hydrate well, exercise and meditate..” Deepika added.

Student Asks Deepika: How To Maintain Mental Peace Amidst Exam Pressure?
A student from CBSE abroad asked Deepika Padukone, “How can we maintain mental peace and balance amidst the increasing pressures of exams and competitions?”
Deepika responded, “Competing with others and making comparisons is a natural part of life. Competition itself isn’t bad, but it’s important to focus on your strengths and work on your weaknesses. The key is to learn from those you see as competitors. Ask yourself, ‘What can I learn from them?’ and ‘How can I do things differently?’ For me, my biggest competition is with myself. When I perform something in a certain way, I challenge myself to do it better next time. That’s how I approach things.”
Pariksha Pe Charcha is an annual event where Prime Minister Modi interacts with students to discuss exam stress, education, and handling pressure. The eighth edition began on Monday, with the Prime Minister visiting Delhi’s Sunder Nursery to talk to students about managing exam stress and staying motivated.
This year, several well-known personalities, including Deepika Padukone, boxer MC Mary Kom, and spiritual leader Sadhguru, have joined the programme to share their life experiences and tips with students.
