Setting a whole new trend was the song ‘Tauba Tauba’ featuring Vicky Kaushal and it was sung by popular rapper-singer Karan Aujla. The track took over the internet with influencers and social media users grooving and recreating the dance steps of this popular chartbuster as videos of the same went viral across platforms. Now months after the release of the track, legendary singer Asha Bhosle decided to perform on the same during a live concert in Dubai.

Surprised by such a huge honor being given to the track by the Padma Vibhushan winner Asha Bhosle, Vicky Kaushal humbled at the gesture, decided to express gratitude on social media. He took to his Instagram story to share a clip from this live concert where the iconic singer was seen singing ‘Tauba Tauba’ and he captioned it saying, “What an absolute legend!!! Asha Ji” and concluded it with teary-eyes, heart, and folded hands emoji.

Earlier, Karan Aujla also had penned a long thank you note on his Instagram story wherein he said, “Asha Bhosle ji The living Goddess of music, Just performed tauba tauba… a song written by a kid that grew up in a small village, with no music background and no knowledge of musical instruments. A melody made by someone who doesnt play any instrument. This song has received a lot of love and recognition amongst not only fans but also music artists, but this moment is truly iconic and one I will never forget. I am truly blessed and thankful. This has really inspired me to keep giving you all such melodies and create more memories together”.
Speaking of the song, the popular track is a part of the film Bad Newz starring Triptii Dimri, Ammy Virk, and Neha Dhupia in key roles.
