Vegetable Fried Rice Recipe
Spicy and delicious fried rice made lots of vegetables. It is so tasty and perfect to put in your kids lunch box.
Maha loves fried rice so much, i make it often, since it is a great way to include veggies in her diet. Since fried rice stays good on lunch box, i make it for her lunch often. You can add whatever veggies you have on hand, just chop it finely and add. This is a quick recipe to make. Try cooking the rice a day in advance so it is easy to stir fry.

Fried rice in my opinion is a perfect way to include veggies in your kids diet plus they will love it. Specially this restaurant style one is just perfect.
My first recipe was a restaurant style egg fried rice, will soon share restaurant style chicken fried rice. I served this with a chinese egg gravy, which can be made in under 15 mins.
Fried rice is my favorite dish to order in any restaurants. I love having fried rice with gobi manchurian or gobi 65. Chicken is also my favorite combo with fried rice. I can have it with chicken manchurian, dragon chicken, chilli chicken or any chinese style recipes.

Ingredients for Veg Fried Rice Recipe
Vegetables
I like to add a mix of carrots, cabbage, bell peppers. mushrooms, baby corn and sweet corn can be used.
Rice
Cooked and cooled day old leftover rice should be used for best fried rice. Basmati or jasmine rice can be used.
Sauces
I like to add soy sauce and vinegar. You can use chilli sauce in your fried rice too.
Seasoning
salt, pepper and sugar are the main seasonings in any fried rice.

Vegetable Fried Rice Recipe Step by Step Pictures
1)Heat oil in a wok. Add in spring onion white part, green chillies, ginger and garlic
3)Saute them for a min.
4)Add in all chopped veggies, i am using carrots, cabbage, capsicum.
5)Mix well
6)Keep cooking on high heat for 5 mins till veggies are tender
7)Add in salt to taste
8)Add in sugar
9)Add in pepper powder.
10)Add in soy sauce
11)Add in vinegar
12)Mix well
13)I have already boiled some basmati rice and cooled it completely.
14)Add the rice in
15)Toss well.
16)Cook on high heat till it is well heated through.
17)Now add in little more pepper powder
18)Add in spring onion greens
19)Toss well
20)Serve
