Valentino launches India exclusive VSling bag for the festive season

Global luxury brand Valentino has highlighted its commitment to the Indian market this festive season and launched an exclusive VSling bag design in the country. The limited run of just 25 handbags has launched at its exclusive brand outlets in Mumbai and New Delhi.

“The Valentino Garavani VSling bag is reinterpreted with exquisite embroideries for an exclusive, limited quantity launch in India,” announced the brand in a press release. “Elegant and precious in design, this India exclusive version of the Valentino Garavani VSling is a luminous accessory, realised in a limited quantity of only 25, that conveys the Maison’s meticulous attention to detail.”
 
The glittering gold bag brings to mind the festive lights of Diwali. Gold hardware and teardrop shaped crystal embellishments add to the sparkle to make for a bag which can be worn with western and traditional occasion wear alike.
 
Valentino’s exclusive VSling bag for India features a leather base and intricate beadwork. The brand’s signature ‘V’ monogram adds a modern feel to the design, which launched in the select stores on October 24.
 
To create the bags, Valentino worked with a group of artisans in India who used a range of traditional craft techniques. Each of the exclusive bags took 18.5 hours to manufacture, according to the brand.
