The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has officially declared the main written exam result of the Indian Forest Services (IFS) examination 2024. The candidates who took the written test can now access their results via the official website, upsc.gov.in. The roll numbers of the selected candidates have been mentioned in a PDF on the portal.
The exam was held from November 24 to December 1, 2024. Those who have passed the exam will next be called for the interview round. The dates of the Personality Tests (Interviews) of the shortlisted candidates will be notified in due course of time. It will be held in the Office of the Union Public Service Commission at Dholpur House, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi-110069.
UPSC IFS 2024 Main Examination Result: How To Check?
Step 1 — Click on the official website of the UPSC at upsc.gov.in
Step 2 — Now navigate to the section titled ‘Written Main Result: Indian Forest Service (Main) Examination, 2024’ on the home page.
Step 3 — Access the PDF displaying the results of the UPSC candidates.
Step 4 — The participants can download the PDF of the results for future reference.

Candidates, who qualified for the Personality Tests will have to fill out the Detailed Application Form-II (DAF-II). They must also note that their candidature is provisional subject to their being found eligible in all respects. “The candidates will be required to produce the original certificates in support of their eligibility/reservation claims viz. age, educational qualifications, community, economically weaker section, Person with Benchmark Disability (PwBD) and other documents such as TA Form etc. at the time of their Personality Test (Interview),” the UPSC said.
The Union Public Service Commission also has a ‘Facilitation Counter’ near the Examination Hall Building on its Campus. Candidates may obtain any information or clarification regarding their Examination/Recruitment on working days. The timings for the examination hall are between 10:00 A.M. and 05:00 P.M.
