Luggage and travel accessories brand Uppercase has opened an exclusive brand outlet in Ahmedabad. Located in the Gujarat city’s Alpha One Mall, the store caters to men, women, and children and launched with a ribbon cutting ceremony.
“Today we opened our sixth store of India at Ahmedabad, Alpha One Mall,” announced Uppercase’s co-founder Sudip Ghose on Facebook. “This I hope will strengthen our already strong presence in Gujarat and will go a long way to build the brand.
Thank you all for your continued support. We will change the way India travels.”
Sudip Ghose co-founded Uppercase and now serves on the brand’s board of directors and as its managing director, according to PitchBook. Uppercase recently announced that it plans to reach a brick-and-mortar store total of 100 by the 2027 financial year to expand its retail network and connect with shoppers across the country.
Ahmedabad’s Alpha One Mall is a project by Alpha Corp and houses a wide range of Indian and international brands including Lee, Wrangler, Spykar, Max Fashion, Nike, Adidas, Puma, Levi’s, Arrow, and United Colors of Benetton, according to its website. The mall is located in the city’s Vastrapur district and also houses a range of entertainment facilities.
