Updated Royal Enfield Hunter 350 spotted ahead of launch

Ahead of its April 26 launch, images have surfaced online of the updated Royal Enfield Hunter 350. The updated bike is seen with a few key changes, some to its chassis and some to its feature-set.

  1. Updated RE Hunter 350 will get new features
  2. Rear suspension has been changed
  3. Gets fresh new colours, price could increase

Royal Enfield Hunter 350 update details

Most affordable RE will now get more features

From the start, one of the major complaints against the Hunter 350 has been its stiff ride owing to its rear suspension. What is clearly visible in these images is that Royal Enfield has moved from a linear spring to a progressive spring. While that is certainly not a guarantee that the Hunter will now have a plusher, more compliant ride, it’s encouraging to see that the company has brought out some changes in line with market feedback.

Another noticeable change is the LED headlight on the Hunter. This means that with this update, all of Royal Enfield’s bikes will now use the same LED headlight with the exception of the Bullet 350. Lastly, the bike now has some fresh colourways, two of which can be seen in these images.

When the Hunter 350 came out three years ago, it became the most affordable Royal Enfield on sale. The company hasn’t raised its price since then (it currently ranges between Rs 1.50 lakh-1.75 lakh). It remains to be seen if Royal Enfield will increase the price tag of its most affordable and second bestselling bike.
