If you want to stay in the Honda fold, you will soon have two very similar options.

I have been using my 2015 Honda CB Unicorn 150 as my city commuter daily since it was new and now after clocking over 43,000km, I’m looking for a change. I require something that will be comfortable for me over Mumbai’s roads and won’t give me any trouble for a long time. I’ve been considering the new Pulsar P150 and the Yamaha FZ-FI V4 DLX. What would you recommend?

Autocar India says: The Unicorn will soon spawn a derivative, the SP160, which will be mechanically very familiar to it. If you’re looking to stay in the Honda fold, the SP160 is your only other option besides the tried-and-tested Unicorn.
As for the Bajaj Pulsar P150, we’ve found it to be a smooth, refined and polished product in general over the more gruff and boisterous Pulsars of yore. We haven’t yet tested the new FZ V4, but with just incremental updates, it shouldn’t be too different to ride from the earlier model. The Yamaha looks bigger than the other two, promises good fuel efficiency and has an established reputation in the market. We suggest you take test rides of the Yamaha and Pulsar P150 if you don’t wish to wait till the new Honda SP160 comes out.
