UGC NET 2023 December result: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued a notice regarding the release of National Eligibility Test (NET) 2023 December session results. According to the official notification, the revised date for release of UGC NET December 2023 final result is January 17, 2024. Candidates will be able to check once it is released on the official website at ugcnet.nta.ac.in/.
The delay in the release of the result is due to the re-examination round that was arranged for candidates who could not appear in the originally scheduled exam date owing to the flooding and adverse conditions brought on by the cyclone Michaung.The notice reads, “NTA announced in the Information Bulletin that the result of UGC – NET December 2023 will be declare on 10th January 2024 but due to Natural Calamity (Michaung) in Chennai and Andra Pradesh, Re – Exam was conducted in the interest of candidates. Therefore, the Final Result of the aforementioned examination would be declared on 17th January 2024 on the website: https://ugcnet.nta.ac.in/.”
According to the notice issued by the NTA, the National Testing Agency conducted the UGC – NET December 2023 examination in 292 cities nationwide, encompassing 83 subjects. This comprehensive test was administered to a total of 9,45,918 candidates during the period from December 6th to December 19th, 2023.
The NTA further advised candidates to visit the official websites of NTA https://ugcnet.nta.ac.in/ for latest updates about the examination. Candidates can also call the NTA helpline numbers provided on the website.
