During a meeting to review the progress of departmental projects and schemes, state tourism and culture minister Jaiveer Singh underlined the need to expedite the completion of pending projects.
“Any issues related to land or otherwise in any project should be resolved at the district level to ensure timely completion,” he stressed at the meeting attended by departmental officials — including Mukesh Meshram, Ashwani Kumar Pandey, and Prakhar Mishra.
The meeting commenced with a review of the ‘Mukhyamantri Paryatan Vikas Sahbhagita Yojana’, followed by discussions on other ongoing projects and schemes for all regions.
These included the beautification of several ghats and roads in Varanasi district, ongoing projects in Gorakhpur, the completion of the musical fountain at Ganesh Bagh in Chitrakoot, and the renovation of streets around the Vindhyachal Temple in Mirzapur.The development of the Buddhist site Sankisa, projects in Sarnath and Ramayan Path were also discussed during the meeting, along with deliberations on development plans for tourist facilities in Devipatan and the measures required to enhance the grandeur of Ayodhya.
