Candidates who are going to appear in the Group – I Services exam can now download the hall ticket from the official website of TNPSC at tnpsc.gov.in

The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has issued the admit card for the Combined Civil Services Examination – I (Group – I Services). Candidates who are going to appear in the Group – I Services exam can now download the hall ticket from the official website of TNPSC at tnpsc.gov.in. All appearing candidates must bring the admit card to the exam hall. Those without it will not be allowed to enter or appear in the recruitment exam.

The Combined Civil Services Examination – I (Group – I Services) has two stages: (i) Preliminary Examination (Objective Type) to choose candidates for the Main Examination, and (ii) Main Examination (Written and Interview) to select applicants for various positions. Through this recruitment drive, the TNPSC will fill up 90 posts in the organisation.

As per the schedule, the preliminary examination for the Group – I Services will be conducted on Saturday, July 13, 2024. The exam will be held in a single shift from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm.

TNPSC Group – I Services Admit Card 2024: Steps To Download

Step 1: Visit the main site of TNPSC at tnpsc.gov.in.

Step 2: On the homepage, look for and click on the TNPSC Group 1 Hall Ticket 2024 link.

Step 3: Then enter the login credentials correctly in the given space.

Step 4: The TNPSC Group – I Services Admit Card 2024 will appear on the screen.

Step 5: Check and download the hall ticket.

The preliminary examination is divided into two main sections – General Studies (Degree Standard) as well as Aptitude and Mental Ability Test (SSLC Standard). The exam will be for a total of 300 marks and will include 200 questions. The General Studies section will comprise 175 questions while the Aptitude and Mental Ability Test section will include 25 questions. The minimum qualifying mark for STs, SCs, SC(A)s, BC(OBCM)s, MBCs/DCs, and BCMs is 90 while for others it is 120.

The Preliminary Examination is just a screening test. Candidates who qualify for the Main Examination will not have their Preliminary Examination marks considered towards their final order of merit.

Candidates will be selected based on their overall performance in the Main Written Examination Paper II, Paper III, Paper IV, and Interview, subject to appointment reservation rules.
