The Yellow Dwelling opens seventh offline store in Chennai


Home textiles, furnishings, and décor brand The Yellow Dwelling has opened its seventh brick-and-mortar store to date in Chennai’s Shenoy Nagar. The store measures 1,200 square feet and was inaugurated on June 25 by Padma Shri architect C.N. Raghavendran.

“We recently launched our Chennai store and are grateful for the warm welcome we have received,” announced The Yellow Dwelling on Facebook on June 26. “To make the event even more memorable, we were honoured to have the Padma Shri architect C.N. Raghavendran grace the launch. Thank you for making The Yellow Dwelling a part of your vibrant community, we cannot wait to share our sustainable home furnishings with you.”
 
The new store features a wide selection of sustainably produced home textile products including bed linens, cushions, bed sheets, curtains, and table linens as well as other homeware goods including handwoven baskets, decorative curious, and ceramic ware. The store’s bright interior has a colour palette of yellow, white, and natural wood. 

“We are extremely excited to open a store in Chennai,” said The Yellow Dwelling’s co-founder Abhinayah Sundaramoorthy, Indian Retailer Bureau reported. “As the city continues to flourish and progress, the passion for home decor and furnishings remains an integral part of the lives of new homeowners, young couples, owners, and the IT population. It reflects their desire to create personalised and welcoming living spaces that embody their individuality while embracing the latest trends and sustainable choices.”
