Business to customer fashion fair The Haat will celebrate heritage Indian fashion and bring together designers and customers at upcoming editions in Bhubaneswar and Bengaluru from June 8 to 9 and 22 to 23 respectively.
From June 8 to 9, The Haat will set up shop in Bhubaneswar’s Pal Heights Hotel to present an array of summer fashion looks, the event organisers announced on Facebook. The shopping fair will feature product categories including ethnic, traditional, and fusion wear for women, jewellery, homeware, accessories, gift items, and other handicraft goods to highlight the work of Indian artisans.
The event will travel to Bengaluru for an edition at the Bangalore International Centre from June 22 to 23. With a similar product selection to its Bhubaneswar counterpart, the event will feature a mixture of local brands and labels from further afield.
The Haat held its most recent event from May 16 to 19 at the Haldiram Banquet Hall in Kolkata’s Ballygunge neighbourhood. The fashion fair featured brands including Allure Creations Prayagraj, Anu Dugar, Alfannul Burhani, Label Kavita, Kraft Rare, and Afghanistan Ziba among others.
The Haat is organised by Fair Care India, an events business based in Kolkata. The business has also held children’s fashion fairs and the Kolkata Handloom Haat to promote handloom weaves.
