All Purpose Flour – the dough for diamond cuts is made with plain flour. But you can use whole wheat flour for healthy option.
Spice powders – I flavoured my dough with chilli powder and asafoetida. You can add any spice powder as you like including cumin powder, chaat masala, turmeric. If you are planning your use chaat masala, i recommend you to sprinkle in the end once fried.
Cumin and ajwain seeds – I add a pinch of both seeds which not only adds a crunchy taste but impart with lots of flavour. Optionally you can add sesame seed which adds crunchy texture when fried.
Oil – add a spoon of hot oil into the dough helps with the crispy texture.
