Shiv Nadar Institution Of Eminence Hosts International Conference

Shiv Nadar Institution of Eminence hosts the Eighth International Conference on Advances in Control and Optimisation of Dynamical Systems (ACODS 2024)

Shiv Nadar Institution of Eminence (IoE), is hosting the eighth International Conference on advances in control and optimisation of dynamical systems at the university premises. The scope of the conference is around theoretical developments and advances in practical applications including machine learning and artificial intelligence techniques in areas like nuclear energy, wind turbines, predictive analysis, wireless networks, space exploration and healthcare, among others. Dr T G Sitharam, Chairman, All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) was the Chief Guest of the event.

ACODS 2024 brings together researchers and practitioners from academia, industry and research laboratories to discuss new developments and advances in the control and optimisation of dynamic systems.

Beginning with workshops and tutorials on emerging and proven technologies in different areas of control, the four-day conference will see six plenary talks by leading researchers offering an overview of research in control, systems biology, identification, robotics, learning theory, space exploration, challenges and future trajectories. The conference’s highlight will also be the 79 paper presentations by researchers from prestigious institutions across India and abroad.

ACODS 2024 brings together researchers and practitioners from academia, industry and research laboratories to discuss new developments and advances in the control and optimisation of dynamic systems.

It is a biennial flagship conference of the Automatic Control and Dynamic Optimisation Society (ACDOS), the Indian national member organisation of the International Federation of Automatic Control (IFAC). This biennial conference at Shiv Nadar Institution of Eminence is a continuation of the series held earlier at IISc Bangalore, IIT Kanpur, NIT Tiruchirappalli, DRDO Hyderabad and IIT Madras.

“Living in an interconnected world, with security, communication, energy and healthcare becoming issues of national concern, the conference will provide a platform to deliberate on and find sustainable solutions”, Dr Suneet Tuli, Dean Research & Partnerships and Dean School of Engineering Shiv Nadar University, Delhi- NCR, said.
