The State Bank of India (SBI) has released the notification for the recruitment of Probationary Officer (PO) positions today, December 26. A total of 600 vacancies will be filled through this recruitment drive. This includes 586 regular posts and 14 backlog vacancies. The application process will open tomorrow, December 27, and conclude on January 16. The Phase I preliminary exam will be held on March 8 and 15.
SBI PO Recruitment 2024: Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification: To apply for the exam, a candidate must hold a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognised university or any equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government. Interested candidates, who are in the Final Year/ Semester of their graduation, can also apply for the same.
Age Limit: Candidates should be graduates in any stream and between 21 years and 30 years of age.

SBI PO Recruitment 2024: Application Fees
Candidates must pay a fee of Rs 750 to successfully apply for the exam. SC and ST category candidates are exempted from paying any fees.
SBI PO Recruitment 2024: Exam Pattern
The written examination is held in two phases. The first phase of the examination, known as Prelims, consists of 100 marks. The pattern includes 30 questions in English Language, 35 of which will be related to Quantitative Aptitude and 35 of which will relate to Reasoning Ability.
Those who clear the prelims will next be called for the mains exam. Also known as the exam’s second phase, questions in the mains exam are worth 250 marks. The second part involves objective questions. Candidates successful in the written examination will be called for an interview and document verification.
