Sanskriti University Announces Sukanya Shiksha Yojana Scholarships For Girls


 Girls with 60 per cent in 12th and have family income less than 2 lakhs will be eligible for the scholarship

Sanskriti University announced Sukanya Shiksha Yojna scholarship program which has been designed to support and encourage the education of brilliant young girls facing financial constraints. 

Meenakshi Sharma, Officer on Special Duty, Sanskriti University said that in the survey conducted by the team of Sanskriti University, it has been revealed that many girl students are very talented, but due to financial constraints, they are deprived of higher education. She said that when these facts came to the notice of University Chancellor Dr. Sachin Gupta, he ordered that such talented girl students should not be deprived of education. For this he advised that the university should plan merit scholarships for girls and implement the scheme immediately. 

Due to this thinking, the university has started ‘Sukanya Shiksha Yojana’. Under this scheme, girl students who belong to families having annual income less than Rs. 2.00 lacs and have secured 60 per cent or more marks in the 12th examination will be provided free education by providing a scholarship from the university. It was decided that 100 girl students whose maximum annual family income is two lakh or less (as per ITR). All such girl students will have to give an entrance test by the university and will be able to get admission based on merit.
