Bollywood producer and director Karan Johar playfully put Salman Khan on the spot by mentioning the names of two of his former romantic interests, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Katrina Kaif. Salman’s past relationships with both actresses had been a subject of public intrigue, with his history of dating Aishwarya and rumored involvement with Katrina. Despite the speculation and media scrutiny, Salman chose neither to marry.

On Reddit, a video of the same thing has surfaced. Salman’s visit on Koffee With Karan is the source of the video. Salman was challenged by Karan in the video to choose between Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Katrina Kaif, two extremely beautiful actresses. After selecting Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, he also included Katrina Kaif. He also made fun of her single status at the time. He teasingly said, “We’ll see what surname adds up.”
Following her role in Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, Aishwarya Rai reportedly dated Salman; the two parted up a few years later. After that, she briefly dated Abhishek Bachchan before they were married in April 2007. Together, Abhishek and Aishwarya have acted in a number of films together, including Raavan¸ Guru, and Dhoom 2.
However, there were rumors that Katrina and Salman were dating intermittently. Nonetheless, on December 9, 2021, she married Vicky Kaushal in a small-scale, opulent ceremony at Six Senses Fort Barwara in Rajasthan. At the much-discussed Koffee “manifestation couch,” Katrina mentioned Vicky as the actor she was most excited to collaborate with and the rest is history.
