The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released the answer key for the Junior Engineer (JE) recruitment exam. Candidates who took the exam can now access and download the Computer-Based Test (CBT) 1 answer key on the official RRB website, rrbcdg.gov.in as well as on the regional websites. Candidates can challenge the RRB JE answer key, if any, till December 28, 2024.

RRB JE CBT 1 exam was held on December 16, 17, and 18, 2024, at various centres across the country. The duration of the exam was 90 minutes and included 100 multiple-choice questions. Candidates can use the answer key and the marking scheme to estimate their probable scores.

How To Download RRB JE Answer Key? How To Raise Objection?

Step 1. Visit the official website of RRB — rrbcdg.gov.in or go to the regional website.

Step 2. Click on the RRB JE Answer Key link on the homepage.

Step 3. Enter the login credentials such as your registration number and date of birth.

Step 4. Enter the security code.

Step 5. Once logged in, the RRB JE Answer Key will be displayed on the screen.

Step 6. Download and save the page for further use.

Step 7. To raise objection, select the question you wish to challenge.

Step 8. Upload supporting documents

Step 9. Pay the fees.

Step 10. Submit.

The recruitment process for RRB JE consists of three stages: CBT 1, CBT 2, and Document Verification (DV) along with Medical Examination (ME). Those who clear the CBT 1 will next be asked to appear in the CBT 2. The results of CBT 1 are expected to be released soon. It will be released along with the final answer key, which will be based on the objections raised on the provisional answer key.

This recruitment drive is being conducted to fill a total of 7,951 vacancies. Among these, 17 posts are for Chemical Supervisor/Research and Metallurgical Supervisor/Research, while 7,934 posts are for Junior Engineer, Depot Material Superintendent, and Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant.
