Range Rover Sport prices came down by Rs 29 lakh with local assembly last year.
Is there any difference between the quality of the locally assembled Range Rover Sport and the imported model? Should I be concerned about such a high-end luxury SUV being made in India?

Autocar India says: There is no difference in quality between the locally assembled Range Rover Sport and a fully imported one. The parts for high-end CKD cars are typically imported in knocked-down form and assembled in India by a highly trained workforce. The only disadvantage could be that you don’t get the same level of customisation that an import could offer, but the cost savings are immense – to the tune of Rs 50 lakh in the case of the Range Rover Sport. In fact, Land Rover sales have shot up in India thanks to the huge demand for the Range Rover and Range Rover Sport that are much better value than before.
