The most awaited Allu Arjun led Pushpa 2: The Rule is all set to release tomorrow and the hype surrounding this Sukumar directorial is at an all time high. According to present advance booking trends, Pushpa 2 has sold tickets worth Rs. 70 crore (Gross) for the opening day already in India, and is headed towards a final pre-sale of Rs. 85 to Rs 90 crore, which will be the biggest till date for a feature film in India.
There is a chance of hitting the Rs. 100 crore mark too, but it all depends on the momentum through the day. Leading from the front is Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, followed by North India, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Kerala. The film is looking at the biggest opening of all time in India, as also globally, and could put up a number that remains unchallenged for a long time.
On the global front, the advance bookings for the first day (including premieres) have crossed the Rs. 100 crore mark. The opening can be classified as Wild Fire, and with 12 hours still to go, the final numbers is just going to reach at a large scale in the times to come.
On the advance front in Hindi, the film has sold almost 2.75 lakh tickets in the top 3 national chains and is racing towards the 3 lakh ticket mark.
