The most awaited film of the year, Pushpa 2: The Rule, is just a day away from release and the advance bookings are going on like wildfire all across the globe. The Hindi dubbed version of Pushpa 2 has sold over 3,00,000 tickets in the top 3 national chains – PVRInox & Cinepolis – as on Wednesday at 3.45 PM, and is racing towards the 4 lakh mark in the coming 8 hours.
The film in the next 45 mins will surpass the final advance booking of Tiger 3 and Brahmastra, and has already surpassed the numbers of Gadar 2 in national chains. The final advance of Pushpa 2 will be around 4.50 lakh in national chains, which is in the same range as Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal.
Pushpa 2 is looking to score an all time record on the opening day, as the first day of this Sukumar film is expected to be in the range of Rs 62 to 67 crore, though a lot would depend on the movement on the day with support of walk-in audience.
The present record holder for biggest opening day is the Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawan on a National Holiday, and Pushpa 2 could top that number despite a non-holiday release.
