Prof Vinay Pathak Gets His 2nd Term As VC In Kapur’s Chhatrapati Shahuji Maharaj University

Professor Vinay Pathak has been reappointed as the Vice Chancellor of Chhatrapati Shahuji Maharaj University. The Governor of Uttar Pradesh, Anandiben Patel, has reappointed Vinay Pathak as the Vice Chancellor of Kanpur University for three years in a letter. Chhatrapati Shahuji Maharaj University in Kanpur is one of the most prestigious universities in the country. Vinay Pathak has served as Vice Chancellor here for the last 3 years. His term has been extended for another 3 years. The university has achieved a lot of fame during Vinay Pathak’s tenure. The university has received an A plus grade. The university has also been placed in the top category in the UGC rankings.

Vinay Pathak takes over as the head after receiving the letter from Governor Anandiben Patel, the Chancellor of Chhatrapati Shahuji Maharaj University handed over the leadership of the college to Professor Vinay Pathak. Professor Vinay Pathak said in an interview that the university is constantly being included in the list of prestigious universities in the country. “This term too, the aim is to take the university to greater heights. Now we are preparing the university for the NIRF and QS rankings,” he added.

Vinay Pathak was recently elected as the President of All India University.

All India University is the amalgamation of all the universities of the country.

The vice chancellor is a permanent officer of the University and is appointed by the Chancellor from the names submitted to him by a Committee constituted in accordance with the provisions of the UP Universities Act, 1973.

The university will absorb all colleges of Auraiya district, Etawah district, Farrukhabad District, Kannauj District, Kanpur Dehat District, Kanpur Nagar District and Unnao District which do not offer engineering, medical (including pharmacy), MBA or MCA degrees from 2020.
