Prithviraj Sukumaran REACTS to Salaar vs Dunki clash; calls it “a fantastic sign-off for a grand 2023” 2023 : Bollywood News

2023 was indeed a year of clashes. Thus, it will end with a clash too. For the unversed, the Prabhas starrer Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire and Shah Rukh Khan’s third film of the year, Dunki, will be releasing simultaneously. Recently, Prithviraj Sukumaran, who plays one of the leads in Salaar, reacted to the clash and called it a “celebration.”

In a conversation with ANI, the popular South actor asserted “It’s a holiday season and we are all film lovers. We’re getting to see a Rajkumar Hirani- Shah Rukh Khan’s film and a Prashanth Neel-Prabhas film we all should be celebrating. I am so excited, I am going to watch both films on the first day.”

Sukumaran further added, “It’s a holiday season and film lovers have two great films to watch. What a fantastic sign-off for a grand 2023 it would be if both the films go on to become blockbusters which I am sure they both will. I am looking forward to it.”

Speaking of Salaar, it is helmed by Prashanth Neel and as mentioned above, Prabhas will be headlining the action-drama. Along with Prabhas and Prithviraj, the film will also feature Shruti Haasan. It is slated to release on December 22.

On the other hand, directed by Rajkumar Hirani, Dunki will hit theatres on December 21. Besides Shah Rukh Khan, the film also features Taapsee Pannu and Vicky Kaushal. It is said that the film is inspired by true events of illegal immigration.
