PM Internship 2024: The registration deadline for the Prime Minister’s Internship Scheme has been extended until November 15, 2024. This extension gives eligible candidates more time to apply for internships with leading companies in various sectors. With the aim to support the professional development of young individuals, the scheme promises to enhance career prospects and provide valuable industry experience.
Launched by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA), this initiative seeks to provide 80,000 internship opportunities across 24 different sectors. The scheme is part of a broader effort to offer practical exposure and skill-building opportunities to young people, benefiting an estimated 10 million individuals over the next five years.
Stipend and Benefits
Interns selected under this scheme will receive a monthly stipend of Rs 5,000. Of this amount, Rs 500 will be provided by the host company through their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) funds, while the remaining Rs 4,500 will be funded by the government. This stipend helps alleviate financial barriers, allowing young individuals to focus on gaining valuable work experience.
