Top Premier League sides Arsenal and Liverpool had to settle for a point each in their latest encounter at the Emirates on Sunday as the game ended 2-2.

Saka opened the scoring in the opening 10 minutes of the game as he latched onto a long ball in from Ben White before cutting in with a sublime touch and beating the keeper at the near post to send the Arsenal fans into a state of delirium with their early lead.
But the joy was short lived as Liverpool skipper Van Dijk restored parity to the game with his 18th-minute strike that brought the visitors back on level terms. The Dutchman headed a ball flicked onto him from the near post following a corner from the left.
Merino went in diving to meet a swirling cross into the danger area from a free kick from promising territory by midfielder Declan Rice to bag his first goal for the gunners as the Emirates bounced once again.

However, Darwin Nunez laid it on a platter for Salah to grab the second goal for his side as the Reds managed a point from the trip to London.
The draw, however, aided champions Manchester City to climb to the top of the table with 23 points from 9 games, one ahead of second-placed Liverpool and two five ahead of Arsenal chasing in the third position.
