Amity organises prayer for the successful landing of the Chandrayaan-3 on the souther polar region of the Moon
Chandrayaan-3 Mission is of immense importance to our nation and the success of the mission will be a groundbreaking historic moment for India of becoming the 1st country in the world to accomplish a smooth landing on the Southern Polar region of the Moon.
The landing of “Chandrayaan-3” is scheduled around 6.04 pm today, 23 August 2023 and this is a very crucial occasion for all Indians. The Central Government and University Grant Commission (UGC) have also asked to the HEIs, IITs, IIMs and universities to organise a special gathering for the live broadcast of the Chandrayan-3 landing on the Moon.
On this occasion, Balvinder Shukla, Vice Chancellor, Amity University Uttar Pradesh, Gurinder Singh, Group Vice Chancellor Amity Universities and thousands of students of Amity prayed and offered Aahuti in the sacred Havan performed at Amity for the smooth and successful landing of Chandrayaan-3 on the moon.
In addition, a delegation from Colorado State University, USA comprising of Travis Maynard, Sr. Associate Dean, College of Business, CSU, USA and Stene Verhulst, Director of International Enrolment Centre, CSU, USA, also offered prayers during the eremony conducted at Amity for the successful landing of Chandrayaan-3 on the moon. This prayer will be continued till the launch of Chandrayaan-3 on the moon at the scheduled time, 6.04 p.m.
