Porsche Cayenne price, GTS, features, accessories, performance, interior and design

A few weeks after revealing the new Porsche Cayenne GTS and Cayenne Coupe GTS, the brand has now listed both models on their website. The SUV body style will set you back Rs  2 crore while the Coupe GTS costs Rs 1.36 lakh more, Rs 2.01 crore. 

Porsche Cayenne GTS exterior, colours and wheels 

The Cayenne GTS comes with Porsche’s SportDesign package as standard and this includes exterior trim bits such as the side skirts, wheel arches, lower portion of the wing mirror and even the front grill and rear diffuser finished in gloss black. There’s a black ‘GTS’ sticker on the side and the rear model madges are finished in matte black. 

At the base price, the Cayenne GTS is offered in 7 colours- White, Black, Dolomite Silver, Carrara White, Quartzite Grey, Carmine Red, and Cashmere Beige. Addition colours that are a part of Porsches ‘Legends’ palette are also available for an additional cost of Rs 7.3 lakh. You can also opt for Porsches ‘Paint to sample’ program, for an additional cost of Rs 20.13 lakh. 

The Cayenne GTS rides on 21-inch RS Spyder wheels in Grey as standard, but you can opt for other styles/sizes for an additional cost.

Porsche Cayenne GTS interior and features

On the inside, the Cayenne GTS gets an all-black interior and features include –  8-way adjustable front seats with memory function (driver only), curved digital drivers display ambient lighting, 4-zone climate control, electric sunblinds for the rear windows, a 2-pane panoramic sunroof, HD Matrix LED headlights, wireless charging, a 14-speaker 710-watt Bose sound system. Also standard on the car are park assist, cruise control and active speed limit assist; features such as a HUD (Rs 2.67 lakh), Lane change assist (Rs 1.71 lakh) and a passenger screen (Rs 1.65 lakh) are all optional extras.

Porsche Cayenne GTS engine, suspension and performance

The Cayenne GTS is powered by a 4.0-litre, twin0turbo V8 petrol engine that now puts out 500hp and 660Nm. This engine is paired with an 8-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission that allows the SUV to complete the 0-100kph sprint in just 4.4 seconds. It rides on Porsches Adaptive Air suspension and the exhaust system is now finished in dark bronze. Stopping duties are carried out by a 6-piston caliper in the front and a 4-piston caliper at the rear.

The Porsche Cayenne GTS rivals other luxury sports SUVs like the Audi RS Q8, Lamborghini Urus S, and Mercedes-AMG GLE 53 Coupe.
