Pepe Jeans London launches first EBO in Calicut

Men’s and women’s apparel and denim brand Pepe Jeans London has launched an exclusive brand outlet in Calicut (Kozhikode) to bolster its brick-and-mortar presence in Kerala. Located in the city’s HiLite Mall, the store retails the label’s selection of casual western wear. 

“Make fashion statement with Pepe Jeans- now open on the ground floor of HiLite Mall,” the shopping centre announced on Facebook, sharing photos of the new outlet. The store opened with a number of promotional offers for shoppers including buy one, get 25% off and buy two, get two free. 

Pepe Jeans London counts a number of stores in the state of Kerala and has two in Kochi as well as one in Thiruvananthapuram. The brand shared last summer that it is on track to reach revenue total of Rs 2,000 crore, fuelled in part by its offline expansion. 

The store has a wall dedicated to denim, the brand’s signature product, with a broad selection of cuts available. Although Pepe Jeans London retails both men’s and women’s apparel, its new Calicut store focuses on its men’s product line. 

Pepe Jeans India Limited counts approximately 200 stores in India. The brand announced in July last year that it plans to expand its brick-and-mortar footprint across India and open 100 new stores in the coming three years, the Press Trust of India reported. The business expects that between 35% and 40% of Pepe Jeans’ India business will come from direct to customer retail, both from its e-commerce stores and from its brick-and-mortar stores.
