Pariksha Pe Charcha 2025: In the third episode, the discussion centred around how to effectively use Artificial Intelligence (AI) in learning and make technology your exam buddy. The episode featured Radhika Gupta, CEO of Edelweiss Mutual Fund, and Gaurav Chaudhary, also known as Technical Guruji. They shared valuable tips with students on incorporating AI and technology into their studies. Radhika Gupta also encouraged students to master technology and provided insights on how they could achieve that.

Learn To Master Technology

Radhika Gupta emphasised that one should not let technology become the master, but instead learn to master it. “Professionally, technology should be used as a slave and not as a master. If you start using it for everything, your creativity and sharpness will fade away.”

To help students understand this concept, she gave an example: “If I enjoy writing and playing with words, I shouldn’t ask AI to write an 800-word essay for me. Instead, I should tell myself, ‘I want to write this myself.’ Even if it takes time, I must avoid relying on AI, or else I’ll lose my sharpness and creativity.”

AI In Class Room

Answering a student’s query on AI’s integration in the classroom to assist teachers, Gupta said that while AI can play a supportive role, it should never replace the core function of a teacher. “The role of a teacher is to provide wisdom and experience. A teacher can use AI for demonstration. It has a good role in showing analysis. The teacher can use it as a tool, though guiding it,” Gupta said.

Podcasts And Not Reels

Radhika Gupta emphasised the importance of finding a balance when it comes to using technology. She advised students to listen to quality podcasts, even if they are two hours long, as they can enrich their learning. After watching or listening to the podcasts, she suggested that students spend some time offline, reflecting on what they’ve learned and writing about it. This practice, she said, would help them absorb the insights more effectively.
