ONGC Recruitment 2024: Eligible students from ICAI and ICMAI can apply for the industrial training programmes through the official website, ongcindia.com.
Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC) is now accepting applications for trainee positions for Chartered Accountants (CA) and Certified Management Accountants (CMA). Eligible students from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and the Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI) can apply for the industrial training programmes through the official website, ongcindia.com. The deadline for submitting applications is December 18, 2024.
This year, ONGC plans to recruit candidates for 50 positions through its industrial training programme. Applicants are required to complete a minimum of nine months and a maximum of 18 months of training as part of the programme.

Charted Accountant Trainee (CA) — 25
Certified Management Accountant Trainee (CMA) — 25
Eligible and interested candidates can complete the application process by using the Google Form link and uploading the necessary supporting documents. The training locations for the aforementioned position will be in Delhi, Noida, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Dehradun, Hazira, Uran, Bokaro, Ankleshwar, Mehsana, Vadodara, Ahmedabad, Cambay, Jodhpur, Rajahmundry, Kakinada, Karaikal, Sibsagar, Jorhat, Agartala, and Silchar.
ONGC Recruitment 2024: Documents Required

ONGC Industrial Training 2024: Eligibility Criteria
CA-
— On or after January 1, 2023, an intermediate pass from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India is required.
— Minimum Grades in class 12 should be 60%.
— Candidate should be born on January 1, 2000, or later.
— As of January 1, 2025, the minimum remaining articleship period is nine months.
CMA-
— Candidates must have passed the Institute of Cost Accountants of India’s Intermediate exam by January 1, 2023, at the latest.
— Minimum Scores in Grades 12 should be 60%.
— Should be born on January 1, 2000, or later.
— The minimum remaining training period will be 9 months (as of January 1, 2025).
ONGC Industrial Training 2024: Selection Process
The management will set the screening criteria for the selection process, and if required, candidates may be invited for interviews. Candidates will be responsible for attending the interview at their own expense. Interviews may also be conducted online or over the phone if necessary. As per Institute guidelines, leave will be allowed. There may be multiple training sites available. No further correspondence regarding the selection process will be entertained, and ONGC reserves the right to make the final decision.
ONGC Industrial Training 2024: Stipend
Selected candidates will receive a consolidated stipend ranging from Rs 20,000 to Rs 25,000 per month during the first year, based on their assigned city. Candidates will be responsible for managing their travel, accommodation, and boarding arrangements.
