NSRCEL, in collaboration with GPS Renewables, introduces ‘Campus Founders,’ a 4-month incubation programme fostering student entrepreneurship in sustainability and hardware development
NSRCEL, the incubation arm of IIM Bangalore (IIM-B), has partnered with GPS Renewables, India’s premier full stack, clean fuels technology & engineering company, to introduce Campus Founders – a student entrepreneurship programme aimed at supporting college-based startup founders and recent graduates in transforming their startup ideas into thriving businesses.
Campus Founders – A GPS Fellows initiative is a 4-month incubation programme through which student entrepreneurs across universities can work on their innovative ideas and offer hands-on mentorship. Applications for this programme are open until April 15, 2024.
This incubation programme will focus on innovative solutions in sustainability, climate change and hardware development. The 4-month long programme is tailored to cater to students’ needs, allowing them to evolve their ventures while still pursuing their studies.
Campus Founders is a programme designed for students to commercialise university innovation, participants to explore MVP and product-market fit and mentorship with industry experts. The programme aims to make entrepreneurship a lucrative career for campus graduates.
NSRCEL’s Campus Founders initiative has incubated its second cohort of 16 startups from 6 states and 5 universities, spanning various industries, making significant contributions to their respective fields.
The programme offers guidance for refining business models, establishing revenue streams, developing growth-driven product roadmaps, achieving product-market fit, exploring funding opportunities and building a loyal customer base while instilling responsibility and resilience for growth management.
