Tara Djokovic pointed at her imaginary watch when her dad said it was getting late.
Novak Djokovic’s daughter, Tara’s adorable reactions to his ‘when are you going to sleep’ remark after a late-night clash with young rival Carlos Alcaraz in the Australian Open has gone viral on social media.
Djokovic beat Alcaraz 4-6 6-4 6-3 6-4 in a stunning battle that lasted 3 hours and 37 minutes and put him into the final four. In the post-match interview, he said he was surprised that Tara and his son, Stefan, were still at Melbourne Park alongside their mom, Jelena.
“I am surprised that my kids are still here,” Djokovic said.
To this, Tara’s eyes widened and she cheekily tapped at her wrist, gesturing to an imaginary watch.
“I love you. Thank you for supporting me but it’s 1 am, when are you gonna sleep tonight?” Djokovic continued with a laugh.

“I just wish that this match today was the final. Just one of the most epic matches I have played on this court, any court really,” Djokovic said.
“I guess the key is recovery,” he added, looking ahead to the
Alexander Zverev clash. “That’s all I’m thinking about. Hopefully, I can come out and feel my best because Sascha (Zeverv) is playing some of the best tennis he has played.”
