The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has announced that the NEET PG 2025 examination will be held on June 15, 2025. The exam will be conducted in a computer-based test (CBT) format in two shifts. The official notification also added that the details regarding the exam will be available on the NBEMS official website, natboard.edu.in in due course of time. The information bulletin will contain the registration process schedule and other important information related to the NEET PG 2025.
“National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) shall conduct the NEET-PG 2025 on 15th June 2025 on a Computer Based Platform in Two Shifts. Information bulletin for NEET-PG shall be published at NBEMS website https://natboard.edu.in/viewnbeexam?exam=neetpg in due course.,” reads the official notice by NBEMS.

The medical entrance examination is held for admission to MD, MS, DNB, and Diploma programmes. Last year, it was initially scheduled to take place on June 23 but was later postponed to August 11. It was conducted in two shifts at 416 venues across 170 cities. The results were announced on August 23.
As many as 2,28,540 candidates took the exam conducted in English for 3 hours and 30 minutes and consisted of 200 MCQs divided into three parts. The NEET PG question paper is usually divided into three sections, namely Sections A, B, and C. The questions are of the multiple-choice type; they collectively comprise a total of 800 marks. Each question carries four marks whereas one mark will be deducted for each wrong attempt. Unanswered questions carry no negative marking, and marked-for-review answers are evaluated based on correctness.
General and EWS category candidates must score a minimum of 50 percentile in the NEET PG exam to qualify for counselling. SC, ST, and OBC category candidates must score a minimum of 40 percentile to clear the exam.
