The Madhya Pradesh Power Generating Company Limited (MPPGCL) has officially announced recruitment opportunities for 44 Assistant Engineer posts across Electrical, Mechanical and Electronics trades. Candidates can submit their applications on MPPGCL’s official website, mppgcl.mp.gov.in. The online application window opened on October 22 and will remain active until November 20.
The recruitment drive is being held to select 13 Mechanical Assistant Engineers, 15 Electrical and 16 Electronic Assistant Engineers. Candidates must have completed B.Tech in relevant trades from a recognised university or institution approved by the Government of India or its regulatory bodies to apply for the positions.
MPPGCL Assistant Engineer Recruitment 2024: Application fees
For the unreserved category candidates, the application fee is Rs 1,200, whereas for the SC/ST/OBC/EWS of Madhya Pradesh candidates, it is Rs 600. Candidates must pay the application fee online, through debit card/ credit card / net banking / UPI / offline E Challan.

Step 2: On the homepage, select the ‘Careers’ option.
Step 3: Click on the ‘Apply Online’ link for Assistant Engineer recruitment.
Step 4: Enter the required information to receive your registration number.
Step 5: Log in with your registration number and password.
Step 6: Carefully review the instructions, then fill out the application form.
Step 7: After submission, a unique number will be generated.
Step 8: Download and print a copy of the application form for future reference.

Madhya Pradesh Power Generating Company Limited (MPPGCL) will recruit candidates for 44 Assistant Engineer positions through a written exam, followed by document verification and a medical examination.
MPPGCL Assistant Engineer Recruitment 2024: Exam Pattern
The exam will consist of 100 questions, covering both general aptitude and the specific discipline of the candidate. Each correct answer will earn 1 mark. Candidates will have a total of 120 minutes to complete the paper. There will be no negative marking for incorrect answers in the MPPGCL AE Exam.
MPPGCL Assistant Engineer Recruitment 2024: Salary
Candidates selected for the Assistant Engineer positions at Madhya Pradesh Power Generating Company Limited will be offered a salary package corresponding to Level 12, with monthly earnings ranging from Rs 56,100 to Rs 1,77,400, based on qualifications and experience. Beyond the base pay, selected candidates will receive various perks and allowances as per company policies.
