Indian travel and accessories brand Mokobara has entered the brick-and-mortar market in Dubai. The brand’s new exclusive brand outlet in BurJuman Mall mixes in store experiences with technological features.

“Mokobara is now in Dubai,” announced the brand’s associate director of retail Sachin Vijayan in a Linkedin post, sharing images of the store. “We are thrilled to announce the launch of our first store in Dubai at BurJuman Mall! From revolutionising travel in India to expanding our footprint internationally, this marks a significant milestone in our journey. We’re excited to bring the Mokobara experience to Dubai- where design, function, and style come together to redefine modern travel.”
Featuring an open facade, the store’s interior is designed to resemble an airport luggage facility. With a grey colour scheme, punctuated by Mokobara’s signature bright yellow hue, the outlet houses products for men, women, and children ranging from hard shell suitcases to women’s handbags and colourful rucksacks as well as accessories.
“A huge shoutout to our incredible team who made this happen,” wrote Vijayan. “If you’re in Dubai, drop by our store at BurJuman Mall and experience the joy of better travel.” By opening in Dubai, the brand aims to connect with global shoppers and tap into the area’s affluent consumer base.
Entrepreneurs Sangeet Agarwal and Navin Parwal launched Mokobara as a direct to customer luggage brand in Bengaluru in 2020. Mokobara opened its first offline store in 2023 and is today expanding with an omni-channel approach.
