Meet Bini Muduli, The First Woman From Bonda Tribal Community To Crack Odisha Public Service Commission

Bini passed her 12th grade from Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya.

Her father, Ram Muduli is a cook at the Government SSD High School, Mudulipada, while her mother is an Anganwadi worker.

It is often said that if one is determined to achieve something and works towards it with all dedication, then nothing can stop them from succeeding. Today, we will talk about one such inspiring story of a girl belonging to the Bonda tribal community of Odisha. She emerged as the first woman from the community to crack the Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) examination. The name of the girl is Bini Muduli.

Bini belongs to Khemaguda Village, located in the Malkangiri District of Odisha. Her father, Ram Muduli, is a cook at the Government SSD High School, Mudulipada, while her mother is an Anganwadi worker. She did her primary schooling at a school in Mudulipada. Bini passed her 12th grade from Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV). She then completed her graduation from Vikram Dev University.

She worked as an Ayurvedic assistant while preparing for the examination. Bini reportedly took help from online sources and YouTube for her preparations. In an interview, she mentioned that her parents were her biggest inspiration and she was also highly encouraged by her teachers, friends, and colleagues. Bini secured a rank of 568 in the Scheduled Tribe (ST) category.

Bini also mentioned that she wants to work with the government to ensure that all the tribal-supportive schemes are properly implemented for the development of the Bonda community. Honouring her achievement, the villagers and local authorities gave her a grand welcome. She was reportedly honoured with a shawl and a bouquet. A villager mentioned that her achievement is an inspiration not only for her community but for the whole Malkangiri District. She reportedly worked with full dedication to achieve this extraordinary achievement.

Shyama Madhi –

A resident of Pathrel Village located in the Paikmal Tehsil of Bargarh District, secured the rank 631.

Bhagyashree Mishra –

She is a resident of Mendukuli, Odisha. She reportedly secured a rank of 138.
