Rajasthan is going to vote in two phases, on April 19 and April 26.
The students enrolled in the 2023-24 batch are going to appear for the examinations starting from March 14 to May 11.
The preparations for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections are in full swing across the country. While the voting is scheduled to take place in seven different phases, Rajasthan will have it in two phases, on April 19 and April 26. Ahead of the polls, Bikaner’s Maharaja Ganga Singh University has announced to postpone the exams scheduled between April 18 and April 20.
As per recent reports, the decision has been taken to facilitate the polling process smoothly. The postponement has also been announced because the voting date is a government holiday in the country.
The circulated notification by the university also suggests that the administration will soon be releasing the updated exam schedule for the students. As per the previously released timetable of the examination, the students enrolled in the 2023-24 batch were going to appear for the examinations starting from March 14 to May 11.
The examination controller of Maharaja Ganga Singh University, Rajaram Choyal, mentioned that the examinations of many classes including the graduation will be postponed now. The new date sheet with the updated dates will be announced later. For any further information regarding the same, students can visit the official website of the university at mgsubikaner.ac.in.
Apart from the same, Rajaram Choyal also informed that the data of the students who have pursued their degree courses from the university till the year 2022 have been uploaded to the official website. By accessing the details at the official website, the students can mention to the administration if there are any spelling mistakes in their names. As per the announcement, the corrections will be made only till April 15.
The 2024 Lok Sabha elections in Rajasthan will be conducted in two phases. In the first phase on April 19, Ganganagar, Bikaner, Churu, Jhunjhunu, Sikar, Jaipur Rural, Jaipur, Alwar, Bharatpur, Karauli-Dholpur, Dausa, Nagaur will be casting votes.
While on the second phase on April 2, Tonk-Sawai Madhopur, Ajmer, Pali, Jodhpur, Barmer, Jalore, Udaipur, Banswara, Chittorgarh, Rajsamand, Bhilwara, Kota and Jhalawar-Baran will be witnessing the voting sessions.
