The Seltos facelift will also get redesigned aircon and media controls panel.
The Kia Seltos facelift is set to make its debut in India on July 4, and ahead of that, the interior of the midsize SUV has been spied for the first time. While the images do not show the full interior, it does hint at some interesting features.

- Seltos facelift likely to feature ADAS
- It will also get a panoramic sunroof
Kia Seltos facelift new features
New spy shots of the Seltos facelift show the redesigned HVAC control unit, which now also houses media controls. However, the most interesting feature is the addition of dual-zone climate control. When launched, the Seltos facelift will be the first midsize SUV to get this climate control feature.
Kia has also replaced the dial for setting the temperature with buttons on either side of the panel. The HVAC panel still gets a temperature display, but it is now smaller than the outgoing Seltos. Interestingly, Kia has also redesigned the hazard light switch that is placed between the central AC vents.
The media controls were earlier touch-based controls that were placed beneath the 10.25-inch touchscreen, and now they are physical buttons flanked by two dials – one for volume and one for controlling the menus. Furthermore, the media controls and HVAC controls are divided by a thin chrome strip, and while the former is placed in a grey panel, the latter is placed in a black panel.
The Seltos facelift will also get a panoramic sunroof, replacing the existing single-pane unit. The sunroof option is likely to be offered from the mid-spec variants onwards like it is on the outgoing Seltos. Kia is also expected to add an ADAS suite to the facelift as previous spy shots show a square module placed in the front bumper.
Kia Seltos facelift exterior
Speaking of exterior design, the spy shots show that mid-spec variants of the Seltos facelift will get a new design for the alloy wheels. The India-spec Seltos facelift looks slightly different cosmetically compared to the international model. Head here to read more about it.
Kia Seltos facelift powertrain
The Seltos facelift is expected to continue with the existing 115hp, 1.5-litre petrol engine and the 116hp, 1.5-litre diesel engine. Kia is also expected to add the 160hp, 1.5-litre turbo-petrol that also does duty in the Carens. Gearbox options are likely to be carried over from the outgoing model.
Kia Seltos facelift rivals
Upon launch, the Kia Seltos facelift will rival the Hyundai Creta, Volkswagen Taigun, Skoda Kushaq, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, MG Astor, and the upcoming Honda Elevate and Citroen C3 Aircross.
