Kia India, which began selling its cars in India in August 2019 as a virtually unknown brand has maintained its 8 percent contribution to global sales in CY2024. During the last year, Kia India, which sold 2,45,000 units, contributed 7.93 percent to Kia Corporation’s global sales of 30.8 lakh units, slightly down on the 8.25 percent it had accounted for in CY2023.

In fact, the Seltos accounts for 46.5 percent of total Kia India sales since 2019, while the more recently launched Sonet currently has a 34.8 percent share.
