The Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) has extended the application deadline for the Class 9 and 11 Lateral Entry Selection Test (LEST) 2025. Interested and eligible students can now apply until November 26, 2024, on the official website navodaya.gov.in. Previously, the deadline was November 19, 2024. The NVS LEST 2025 is scheduled for February 8, 2025.
The official website reads, ‘The last date for submission of online application for Classes XI & XI Lateral Entry Selection Test 2025 has been extended up to 26.11.2024. The online correction window will remain open on 27.11.2024 & 28.11.2024. The correction in data of registered candidates for Classes IX & XI KEST 2025 is permitted only in GENDER (MALE/FEMALE/TRANSGENDER), CATEGORY (GENERAL/OBC,SC/ST), AREA (RURAL/URBAN) & DISABILITY.’
JNVST Admission 2025: Steps to register
Candidates can follow these steps to register for IX & XI LEST 2025:
Step 1: Visit the official website, i.e., navodaya.gov.in.
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the link that reads, ‘Click here to apply for Class IX LEST 2025’ or ‘Click here to apply for Class XI LEST 2025’.
Step 3: A new page will appear on the screen.
Step 4: Register yourself and proceed to fill in the application.
Step 5: Pay the registration fee and submit your application.
Step 6: Take a printout of your application for future reference.
