Jharkhand Board Exam: Students who are set to take the exams can check and download the detailed exam date sheet from the JAC’s official website at jac.jharkhand.gov.in.
The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has released the timetable for the class 8 and class 9 board exams 2025. The class 8 exams are scheduled to commence on January 28, 2025, while the class 9 exams will start on January 29, 2025. Students who are set to take the exams can check and download the detailed exam date sheet from the JAC’s official website at jac.jharkhand.gov.in.
The exams will be conducted in two shifts — from 9:45 AM to 1 PM and from 2 PM to 5:15 PM. Each paper in class 8 will be 50 marks featuring multiple-choice questions (MCQs). Furthermore, an internal exam will be held at the school level carrying 100 marks. This year 5,18,002 students have applied for the 8th exam and 4,77,096 students have applied for the 9th exam.

Meanwhile, Jharkhand Board 11th exam will start on March 6. Jharkhand Board Inter Vocational exam will be held between March 5 and 25. 500 students have applied for this exam.
Around 4,33,886 students have applied for Jharkhand Board 10th and 3,49,825 students have applied for the 12th exam. Jharkhand Board Matric and Inter exams will be held from February 11 to March 3, 2025. Students can check the model set question paper of the JAC 10th, and 12th exams on jacexamportal.in. In Jharkhand Board Exam 2025, there will be 30 multiple-choice questions of 30 marks. There will be an internal assessment of 20 marks at the school level. The remaining 50 marks will include all short answer, long answer questions.
Due to the increasing effect of the cold wave, the state government has directed all schools including government, non-government, aided, unaided (including minority), and private schools to remain closed from January 7 to 13, 2025. During this period, classes from KG to 8th will be suspended. Classes from 9 to 12 and all types of residential schools will continue to operate as usual.
