JEE Main 2025: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is all set to conduct the second session of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025 on April 2, 2025. With the exam approaching, the NTA will soon release the JEE Main Exam City Slip 2025 for session 2. Although the exact date and time of the release are not confirmed, the city slip will be available on the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in, once the link is activated.
According to the official notice, the exam city intimation slip may be issued by the second week of March, while the JEE Main 2025 admit cards will be available three days before the exam date. Once the link for the JEE Main 2025 Session 2 Exam City Slip is activated, candidates will be able to download it from the official website using their application number and date of birth.
JEE Main Session 2 Exam Schedule
April 2 to April 7, 2025: Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech) – 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon (First Shift) and 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM (Second Shift)
April 8, 2025: Paper 2A (B.Arch) – 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM and Paper 2B (B.Planning) – 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM
April 9, 2025: Combined Exam for Paper 2A and 2B – 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon (First Shift) and 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM (Second Shift)
Steps To Download JEE Main 2025 Session 2 Exam City Slip:
Step 1: Visit the official NTA JEE Main website: jeemain.nta.nic.in.
Step 2: On the homepage, click the link to download the Session 2 exam city slip.
Step 3: Log in using your application number and date of birth.
Step 4: Review and download your exam city intimation slip.
The exam city intimation slip provides candidates with information about the city of their exam centre. The JEE Main 2025 admit card, to be released closer to the exam date, will include further essential details.
JEE Main 2025 Exam Pattern:
The JEE Main exam for B.E./B.Tech will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. The exam will consist of three subjects: Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. Each subject will have two sections: Section A and Section B, with a total of 75 questions and a maximum score of 300 marks.
Section A: Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs)
Section B: Numerical value-based questions
Each subject will consist of 25 questions: 20 MCQs in Section A and 5 numerical value-based questions in Section B.
Marking Scheme:
Correct Answer: +4 marks
Incorrect Answer: -1 mark
Unanswered/Marked for Review: 0 marks
For Section B, candidates must enter the correct integer value of the answer using the on-screen virtual numeric keypad. The answer should be rounded to the nearest integer.
