JEE Main 2025 Session 2: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will open the application correction window for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025 Session 2 today, February 27, 2025. Candidates who have already registered for JEE Main 2025 are allowed to make necessary changes to their application forms until February 28, 2025, at 11:50 PM. The corrections can be made through the official website, jeemain.nta.ac.in.
JEE Main 2025 Session 2: Who Can Edit Their Application?
Existing Candidates: Candidates who registered for JEE (Main) 2025 Session 1 (from October 28 to November 22, 2025) and have applied for Session 2 (from February 2 to February 25, 2025) can modify the following details in their application:
- Course (Paper)
- Medium of Question Paper
- State Code of Eligibility
- Examination Cities (from the available options)
- Educational Qualification (Class 10 and Class 12)
- Gender
- Category
- Fee Payment (if applicable)
Note: Changes in these fields will be processed only after the payment of any additional fees if required.
New Candidates: Candidates who applied for JEE Main Session 2 only (from February 2 to February 25, 2025) can edit the following details:
- Educational Qualification (Class 10 and Class 12)
- State Code of Eligibility
- Date of Birth
- Gender
- Category
- Sub-category/PwD
- Signature
- Paper
- Candidates can also update their Examination City and Medium of Examination based on their permanent and present address.
However, New Candidates are not allowed to change the following fields:
- Mobile Number
- E-Mail Address
- Permanent and Present Address
- Emergency Contact details
- Photograph of Candidate
Additionally, New Candidates can change only one of the following fields:
- Candidate Name
- Father Name
- Mother Name
JEE Main 2025: How To Edit Your Application?
To make the necessary corrections in the JEE Main 2025 Session 2 application form, follow these steps:
Step 1: Visit the official JEE Main portal — jeemain.nta.nic.in.
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the “JEE Main 2025 Session 2 Application Correction” link.
Step 3: Sign in using your application number and password.
Step 4: Make the required changes carefully in the application form.
Step 5: Pay any additional fees, if applicable.
JEE Main 2025 Session 2 Exam Schedule
The JEE Main 2025 Session 2 exam is scheduled to take place between April 1 to 8, 2025. The exam will be held in two shifts:
Shift 1: 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Shift 2: 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM
The JEE Main 2025 Session 2 exam will be conducted online as a Computer-Based Test (CBT) and will last for three hours. The exam will be conducted in 13 languages, including English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.
The examination pattern for Paper 1 consists of:
75 questions in total, adding up to 300 marks.
Section A will contain 60 multiple-choice questions (MCQs).
Section B will have 15 numerical answer-based questions.
