In pursuit of 90 runs, Srinagar had a difficult start, losing two early wickets with only 12 runs on the scoreboard. However, Sagar and Sanskar Dhyani formed an unbeaten 64-run partnership for the third wicket to secure the victory.
Sagar started slowly but accelerated during the 50-50 Challenge over, hitting four consecutive sixes against Vishwajit Thakur. He reached his fifty with a boundary that also sealed the match.
For Falcon Risers Hyderabad, Mansoor KL played a crucial role by scoring 46 not out from 19 balls after being promoted in the batting order. His innings helped the team recover from a precarious position of 24 for 5.
Mansoor’s promotion ahead of established batsmen Sambhaji Patil and Shreyash Kadam proved successful. He hit multiple sixes in the 50-50 Challenge Over bowled by Dilip Binjwa, helping Hyderabad score 25 runs in that over.
The left-handed Mansoor continued his aggressive batting with three boundaries in the eighth over and a six in the final over. He formed an unbeaten 40-run partnership with captain Sambhaji, who scored 7 not out.
Hyderabad’s innings began poorly when Rajesh Sorte dismissed Kisan Satpute and Aakash Jangid in the opening over. Vishwajit Thakur contributed 10 runs from 9 balls to the team’s total.
Rajesh Sorte was Srinagar’s most effective bowler, taking 3 wickets for 12 runs. Suvronil Roy, Dilip Binjwa, and Prajyot Ambhire each claimed one wicket.
The match day began with popular music composer Mithoon Sharma entertaining the crowd with his hit songs, adding a festive atmosphere to the cricket event.
The tournament final will feature Majhi Mumbai against Srinagar Ke Veer on Saturday. Viewers can watch all matches live on Star Sports 1 television channel and JioHotstar streaming platform.
