India’s RIL increases prices of PTA, MELT after a brief pause

Reliance, India’s leading polyester chain player, has raised the prices of purified terephthalic acid (PTA) and MELT after a week-long pause, with monoethylene glycol (MEG) prices remaining steady.
The price adjustments come in the wake of a QCO restricting imports.
According to sources, PTA is now ₹86.60 per kg, MEG remains at ₹50.10, and MELT is ₹91.51.
