Indian Navy GITAM Signs MoU


Indian Navy and GITAM (Deemed to be University) join forces in a MoU signing to advance education and innovation initiatives

The Indian Navy, GITAM (Deemed to be University) and the Navy Welfare & Wellness Association (NWWA) have inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enable the wards of Indian Navy officers to pursue higher education.

Under this agreement, GITAM will provide four Indian Navy wards subsidised higher education at its institutions, including medical education. Furthermore, GITAM will work with the Indian Navy to strengthen its fighting capabilities by encouraging an innovative culture and research in cutting-edge combat technology.

GITAM is committed to advancing the nation through transformative education and pioneering societal progress. The signing ceremony included Kala Hari Kumar (President, NWWA), Commodore G Rambabu (Cmde, Naval Education) and Dayananda Siddavattam (Vice-Chancellor, GITAM).
