Candidates will be allowed to improve their marks and grades in the same examination year by appearing for improvement exams. However, they can opt for improvement in a maximum of two subjects only. Notably, compartment exams for ICSE have been discontinued starting from the 2024 board exams.

CISCE will retain the answer scripts for only 60 days after the declaration of the main examination results.
