The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has revealed the provisional date for the results of the Chartered Accountancy (CA) September examinations. According to the institute, the results for both the CA Foundation and Intermediate levels are expected to be released on October 30. Once the results are made available, candidates will be able to access their scores on the official website, icai.nic.in, by entering their registration number and roll number.
The official notification stated that the results for the Chartered Accountants Intermediate and Foundation Examinations conducted in September 2024 are expected to be announced on Wednesday, October 30, 2024. Candidates will be able to access their results on the website icai.nic.in.
Steps To Check ICAI CA Foundation, Inter Results 2024:
Step 1: Visit the institute’s website at icai.nic.in.
Step 2: Click on the link for the CA Foundation or Intermediate results, depending on your needs.
Step 3: Input your roll number and registration number.
Step 4: Submit the information to view your result.
Step 5: Download the result and keep a hard copy for future reference.
The Chartered Accountancy Foundation examination was conducted on September 13, 15, 18 and 20.
For the CA Intermediate exam, Group 1 candidates took their tests on September 12, 14 and 17, while Group 2 candidates sat for their exams on September 19, 21 and 23.
ICAI CA Foundation, Inter Results 2024: Passing Marks
The CA Foundation course exams for September comprised four papers, each carrying 100 marks, with a penalty of 0.25 per cent deducted for every incorrect answer in the objective sections. To successfully pass the CA Foundation exam, candidates are required to score at least 40 per cent on each paper and achieve a cumulative aggregate of 55 per cent. In the previous session, the overall pass rate was 14.96 per cent, with male candidates achieving a pass rate of 15.66 per cent and female candidates a rate of 14.44 per cent.
The CA Intermediate exams for September 2024 were conducted in two groups. In the last session, the overall pass percentage for candidates was 18.44 per cent.
A total of 91,900 candidates took the CA Foundation June examination. Of these, 13,749 candidates successfully passed, resulting in an overall pass rate of 14.96 per cent. Among the 48,580 male candidates, 7,766 achieved a passing score, leading to a pass percentage of 15.66 per cent. In contrast, the pass percentage for female candidates was lower than that of their male counterparts. Out of 42,320 females who appeared for the exam, 5,983 passed, resulting in a pass rate of 14.14 per cent.
ICAI CA Foundation, Inter Results 2024: CA Final Postponed
ICAI announced the postponement of the CA Final November 2024 examination due to the Diwali festivities. According to the revised timetable, the Group 1 examination is now set to occur on November 3, while the Group 2 examination will commence on November 9. Originally, the exams were planned to take place from November 1 to November 11, 2024.
