The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released the preliminary examination result 2024 today, December 3, 2024. Candidates who took the examination can now check and download their IBPS SO scorecard from the official website at ibps.in. Candidates will need their application number and date of birth to check their scores.
Steps to Download IBPS SO Result 2024
Step 1: Visit the official IBPS website- ibps.in
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the link that reads IBPS SO preliminary exam results
Step 3: On the newly opened page, enter your registration number and password
Step 4: Click on submit and your IBPS SO result 2024 will appear on the screen
Step 5: Now download and take a printout for future reference.
The IBPS SO Prelims Exam 2024 was held on November 9, 2024 for two hours. The exam paper comprised of 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs).
IBPS SO Result 2024: What’s Next?
Those who clear the exam will have to appear for the main examination next, which is slated to be conducted this month. The results of the mains exam will be declared in January/ February 2025. Selected candidates will have to appear for the interview round which will be conducted in February/March 2025 and the provisional allotment list will be out in April 2025.
Candidates are selected for the IBPS Specialist Officers (SO) posts through two tiers of examination: An online Preliminary Examination and an online Main Examination followed by an interview.
Online Preliminary Examination: Candidates must first qualify for the Online Preliminary Examination to be shortlisted for the next phase.
Online Main Examination: Shortlisted candidates from the Preliminary Examination will advance to the Online Main Examination.
Common Interview: Those who qualify for the Online Main Examination will be invited to a Common Interview, conducted by the Participating Banks and coordinated by the Nodal Bank
